Rally Portugal will remain in the World Specialized Sports Championship in 2024 and the contract between Automóvel Club de Portugal and the promoter (WRC) will be signed today at a ceremony held in Matosinhos.
Carlos Barbosa, President of ACP, and Jona Siebel, CEO of WRC Promoter, have formalized the contract with Exponor in an agreement that includes an option also for the 2025 season, which will be implemented next September during the World Council of the International Automobile Federation.
“The signing of this contract demonstrates the confidence of the WRC promoter in the organization and is a recognition of the efforts we have put into organizing one of the benchmark rallies on the World Championship calendar,” stressed Carlos Barbosa, President of the ACP.
