Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko made his first public appearance since May 9, when he hastily pulled out of Moscow’s Victory Day celebrations due to health concerns, raising concerns about his condition.
A top ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom he allowed to use Belarusian territory to launch strikes against Ukraine, Lukashenko visited Air Force Central Command on Monday, where he said that while there was no “critical situation”, some “factors” were causing “concern.”
The President of Belarus, who appeared with a band-aid in his hand, also mentioned the crash over the weekend of several helicopters and Russian military fighter jets in the Bryansk region, 200 km from the border with Urania.
