Learn the PSP tip for NOS Alive

The security operation for the NOS Alive festival at Passeio Marítimo de Algés will be conducted by PSP on 6, 7 and 8 July.

In a case where about 55,000 people per day are expected, CRIL/IC17 will stop downhill traffic between Miraflores Junction and the roundabout next to Av. Brasilia, from 23:30 to 5:00.

At Brasília Ave. On the peripheral road between Alges and Alto da Boa Viage, viaduct CRIL/IC17 (Alges) and Plaza D. Manuel I, a traffic restriction will be introduced from 15:00.

In a statement, PSP left some advice for the public that will attend the festival:

– arrive at the event in advance, given the large influx of people to the event and the security rules for access to the venue;
– Give priority to the use of public transport;
– Check which prohibited items cannot be brought into the festival area;
– If you are parking on a public road, make sure you leave your vehicle to allow traffic;
– Make sure you leave your car locked and don’t leave valuables in plain sight;
– do not show or carry valuable items, as well as large sums of money;
– If you carry backpacks or suitcases, always keep them closed and close to the front of your body;
– If you think police intervention is necessary, call 112 and/or 21 765 42 42.
– Be a facilitator of the implemented security procedures and not endanger your own safety and the safety of other citizens;

On the territory it is prohibited:
– metal chains and any sharp objects;
– Large suitcases;
– Lanterns and lasers;
– Firearms and cold steel;
– xenophobic messages or calls for violence;
– Boxes and containers with food;
– Chairs of any kind;
– explosive and pyrotechnic materials;
– Umbrellas;
– Alcoholic drinks, syringes and drugs;
– Professional cameras, selfie sticks and hard rods;
– Bottles, jars and glasses;
