The oldest music festival in Portugal and the Iberian Peninsula returns to Vilar de Muros.
There will be four days of music, never forgetting the rock essence of the event, which will begin this Wednesday, when the parish of the municipality of Caminha will receive a line-up entirely dedicated to Portuguese music, an idea that arose from the need to change the line-up after Queens of the Stone Age cancelled their presence due to the health of singer and guitarist Josh Homme. Entry this Wednesday, and only this Wednesday, is free on a first come, first served basis.
Until Saturday, names such as Die Antwoord, Soulfly, The Cult, The Darkness, The Libertines or The Waterboys will pass through Vilar de Muros. But the presence of Portuguese music will be continuous on different days and, in addition to Amália Hoje, Delfins, GNR, The Legendary Tigerman and Fogo Frio, this Wednesday will also feature Xutos & Pontapés, Moonspell, Ornatos Violeta, Capitão Fausto and David Fonseca, among others.
