A 44-year-old man died on Tuesday evening as a result of a car accident in which he was traveling in Aveiro.
Upon the arrival of the operatives, the victim was already in cardiorespiratory arrest.
Around midnight, Aveiro Velhos firefighters received a traffic accident warning on Avenida Manuel Maria Rocha in Esgueira. An ambulance and resuscitation team from Aveiro was also mobilized.
I had to call a rescue team from among the firefighters of Aveiro Velhos to remove the victim from the wreckage of the accident. The death was confirmed by the VMER team.
The body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Aveiro for an autopsy.
The PSP of Aveiro has been mobilized and is investigating the causes of the accident.
