The Three Musketeers are back – in two movies! Showing the first photos

The novel by Alexandre Dumas is again preparing for the big screen. Vincent Cassel and Eva Green are one of the characters in the adventure epic, which will be released in two parts.

We saw the three musketeers Aramis, Athos and Porthos several times on the big screen or at home. Adaptations from Oliver Reed and Richard Chamberlain, Charlie Sheen and Kiefer Sutherland, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeremy Irons and John Malkovich such as Mickey, Donald and Goofy are among the most famous adaptations. In 2011, we saw her for the last time in a big way on the big screen in the film adaptation Logan Lerman, Luke Evans, Milla Jovovich and Christoph Waltz. Now the French dare to take pictures again – after all, the author Dumas was a Frenchman.

The implementation should take place in two films in theaters. The first one is called Les Trois Mousquetaires: D’Artagnan (“Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan”), second Les Trois Mousquetaires: Milady (“Three Musketeers: Milady”). And, of course, the French did not stint on the cast. Vincent Cassel (Athos), Romain Duris (Aramis) and Pio Marmai (Porthos) play the Musketeers of the same name, François Civil will play D’Artagnan, Eva Green will play Milady and Vicki Crips will play Anna of Austria. Louis Garrel will appear as Louis XIII.

We have received the first photos of this major project from a Swiss distributor. In the frame from the first film (above) we see François Civil as D’Artagnan, in the second we see a romantic scene between Vincent Cassel’s Athos and Eva Green’s Milady.
