We spoke to them about the playable version of Ariel and wanted to know, among other things, if the mermaid scenes in Pirates of the Caribbean 4 were made easier for them.

Rob Marshall is somewhat of an expert on Disney musicals of the last few years. So he arranged among others In the forest, Mary Poppins is back and now a live action remake Mermaid.

This is not the first time Marshall and his producer John DeLuca have had the pleasure of conducting mermaids. IN Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tidesin which the two were also in charge, Jack Sparrow & Co. had to deal with dangerous mermaids.

Of course, Ariel is much prettier than her, but we still wanted to ask Marshall and DeLuca if they would be involved in the fourth Pirates movie. Mermaid helped.

Mermaid opens May 25, 2023 in cinemas in Switzerland and Germany.
