Tabakalera and the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum present the joint exhibition “That Time. The Ages of Art. Tabakalera-Bilbao Museoa”, which can be visited in the center of San Sebastian starting next June.
It is the first time that both institutions collaborate on an exhibition project, which will be made up of an “important” part of the Bilbao museum’s collection and will be complemented by newly created works produced by Tabakalera and developed expressly for this exhibition.
This is Tabakalera’s largest exhibition since it opened in 2015, and it will have 1,500 m2 of exhibition space, where you can see works such as the nonsense by Francisco de Goya, The creation of the world by Fernand Leger, the holy face by Francisco de Zurbaran, day regimen by June Crespo and new creations by Tabakalera.
The exhibition will be curated by the internal team of both institutions: Miriam Alzuri, curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, from the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, and Oier Etxeberria, head of the Public Program, from the Tabakalera International Center for Contemporary Culture. .
