Fans had to wait a long time for this one, but now it’s here: the first trailer for Indiana Jones’ latest adventure with Harrison Ford. But this may not be the last time we see the Indiana Jones character. Disney is said to be currently considering how to keep the series without a star. Among other things, the series on Disney+ is an option that should shed light on the early days of an archaeologist.
But first, focus on the fifth Indy movie adventure, which will also feature a computer-rejuvenated Harrison Ford, according to British magazine Empire. This is no longer uncommon in large-scale productions, which is why in recent years we have seen rejuvenated versions of Jeff Bridges (Tron: Legacy) and Carrie Fisher (Rogue One). In the first trailer, you can already see the first moving pictures of a slightly younger Indiana Jones, and the stunt technique seems to be getting better and better.
In addition to Harrison Ford, the film also stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Shonet René Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Oliver Richters, Ethann Isidore and Mads Mikkelsen as the villain.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (German title: Indiana Jones and the Call of Destiny) will be released in theaters in Switzerland and Germany on June 29, 2023.
