As director and screenwriter James Gunn has repeatedly confirmed, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 be the last part with a famous team. Even in the comics, the Guardians of the Galaxy have been made up of different characters from time to time, so it’s possible that we’ll see the Guardians again in a different form in the future.
But first, it was the turn of the well-known cast again. Already the first trailer indicates that the latest adventure could be dramatic. So we see Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) momentarily weep sadly, and we can learn more about the troubled past of the fan-favorite Rocket Raccoon. It will also be interesting to see how Zoe Saldana’s Gamora reintegrates into the team. Because who Avengers: Endgame seen, knows that this is not the Gamora that we know from the first two films.
It’s not just for performers Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 farewell performance, but also to mastermind James Gunn, responsible for all three films. As we reported, Gunn is moving to rival Marvel DC, where he will oversee all films in the comic book universe of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, whatever they’re called. Gunn thus becomes DC’s Kevin Feige, who holds all the reins at Marvel.
