The American actress Kirstie Alley has died this Monday at the age of 71 due to a recently diagnosed cancer, as reported by her family.
“To all our friends, throughout the world: We are saddened to inform you that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, recently discovered”, wields a statement released by the children of the actress in social networks.
Alley, winner of a Golden Globe and an Emmy for her role in “Cheers,” won a second Emmy in 1994 for her role as Sally Goodson in “David’s Mother.” Likewise, the actress is also known for her interpretation in ‘Look who’s talking’.
In addition, her roles in many other movies and series over the years include ‘Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kha’ and ‘Dancing With the Stars.’
