With and with Bradley Cooper: The first trailer for the star biopic “Maestro”

In his second directorial effort since A Star Is Born, Bradley Cooper focused on the life of Broadway legend Leonard Bernstein and his strained relationship with wife Felicia Montealegre.

Bradley Cooper’s star-studded film follows the lifelong relationship between Broadway composer Leonard Bernstein and actress Felicia Montealegre. According to Netflix, the film is a declaration of love for life, art and family.

maestro is one of the most anticipated films of the upcoming Oscar-winning season. After Bradley Cooper made his directorial debut A star is born impressed, he was inspired by none other than Steven Spielberg to film the life of Broadway legend Leonard Bernstein and pass himself off as a genius composer. However, looking at the first trailer, it seems that the focus of the story is not Bernstein, but his wife Felicia Montealegre, played by Carey Mulligan. Mulligan’s name appears first in the trailer and also precedes Cooper’s name on the poster.

maestro will celebrate its world premiere at the upcoming Venice Film Festival, which OutNow will feature again this year. According to a press release, Netflix plans to bring the film to US theaters on November 22, 2023. A Swiss theatrical release is also possible. The film will then be available on Netflix from December 20, 2023.
