After Bradley Cooper made his directorial debut A star is born impressed, he was inspired by none other than Steven Spielberg to film the life of Broadway legend Leonard Bernstein and pass himself off as a genius composer. However, looking at the first trailer, it seems that the focus of the story is not Bernstein, but his wife Felicia Montealegre, played by Carey Mulligan. Mulligan’s name appears first in the trailer and also precedes Cooper’s name on the poster.
maestro will celebrate its world premiere at the upcoming Venice Film Festival, which OutNow will feature again this year. According to a press release, Netflix plans to bring the film to US theaters on November 22, 2023. A Swiss theatrical release is also possible. The film will then be available on Netflix from December 20, 2023.
