The documentary also showed footage of Princess Michael of Kent wearing a Blackmoor-style brooch at a Christmas dinner Meghan attended in 2017, for which the princess later apologized.

Princess Michael of Kent was photographed on her way to the Queen’s Christmas dinner in 2017 wearing a coat brooch that turned out to be a crowned and jeweled bust of an African man and was believed to be a black-style brooch.
This sparked outrage, especially since Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, who got engaged to Prince Harry in November this year, is biracial.
Princess Michael later apologized.
A spokesman for the princess said at the time: “The brooch was a gift and has been worn many times. Princess Michael deeply regrets this and is saddened that it has caused offense.”

He spoke of what he called “the unconscious bias of the Windsors”.
“Sometimes in this family you are more part of the problem than part of the solution. There are a huge number of unconscious biases,” he said.
“As for the unconscious bias, it’s really nobody’s fault. But once you have pointed it out or acknowledged it in yourself, you must make amends.”
He also criticized the palace and its stance on heavy media coverage of Meghan, with the prince suggesting it was part and parcel of marrying the firm.
“The palace orders were not to say anything,” said Harry.
He added: “Many members of the family have gone through the same things as her.
“So it was almost a rite of passage and some family members were like, ‘My wife had to go through this, so why should your friend be treated differently?’ Why should you receive special treatment? Why should she be protected?
“I said, ‘The difference here is the racing element.’
The third episode focuses on race and discusses Britain’s colonial past.
Harry said it was a revelation for him to talk about racing with Meghan.
“I thought I knew about problems, lifestyle, unconscious biases… everything.
“But when I heard them talking… sitting and talking and chatting, I thought… well, here you are blissfully walking through life in a dream.”
Harry also talked about how proud he was that his children were mestizos.
Netflix reports that members of the royal family have declined to comment on the series.
Buckingham Palace has yet to comment on the claims in the documentary.
In the 2020 book find freedom biographies of Harry and Megan, the Duchess of Sussex herself questioned the choice of jewelry by the Princess of Kent.
She “wondered if there was a message pinned to the chest of an African wearing a gold turban and elaborately dressed.”
The biography added: “At least it showed insensitivity to Meghan’s African-American roots and the racism she faced after working with Harry.”
