Supernatural comedy from Netflix Wednesday mesmerized the audience and now all the fans are asking the same question: when will the next episode come out?
The Addams Family The spin-off was released on Wednesday, November 23, and within a week, the streaming service saw the show break the record for most hours watched in a week of any Netflix TV show of all time.
The series only has eight episodes, some of which were directed by Tim Burton, so the call for more has begun.
What happened at the end of the first episode?
The show follows the fate of Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega), the daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams, who drops out of school to attend her parents’ alma mater Nevermore Academy, a private school for outcasts.
During her time there, she tries to master her nascent psychic powers, prevent a monstrous rampage terrorizing the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that baffled her parents 25 years ago.
All this time she struggled with her new and very complicated relationship in Nevermore.
At the end of the first series, we see Wednesday end her romance and wonder who Wednesday’s stalker is after she turns on her cell phone (a gift from Xavier) and receives ominous messages.
What do we know about the next episode on Wednesday?
There has been no official announcement from Netflix about the second series.
But reviews suggest it’s at stake.
Two weeks after its release in November, the coming-of-age comedy became the third most watched English-language series on Netflix with 752.52 million hours watched. stranger things 4 as well as Dahmer – Monsters: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
The first series ended with unanswered questions, including the identity of Wednesday’s stalker and what happened to Tyler, leaving ample opportunity for the story to continue.
And the rest of the Addams Family, including Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia and Luis Guzman as Gomez, are waiting in the wings to take center stage.
