But with this Avatar: Path of Water For a film to be profitable at all, Cameron said it would have to gross over $2 billion. Cameron leaves no stone unturned and leaves nothing to chance. What is SINITI?

CINITY is a projection system from China that will be launched in Europe with the launch of Avatar: Path of Water was installed only in Aachen, Germany, as well as in Zurich and Geneva. In Zurich, hall 3 at the Arena Cinemas Sihlcity was equipped with it, in Geneva, hall 7 at the Arena Cinemas La Praille. CINITY combines advanced 3D, 4K and HFR (high frame rate) technologies, ultra-high brightness and wide color gamut. While HFR, 3D and 4K have been around for a while, regular projectors can’t play them together. Now with CINITY it is possible. Some scenes in Avatar: Path of Water were shot at 120 frames per second, which together with improved color spectrum, incredibly bright images and unrivaled 3D resolution, results in a film experience close to human vision.

And how is that?

We were allowed to watch a movie in the Arena Cinemas Zurich with this new technology and we were delighted. Maybe because the last time I was in a 3D cinema was about six months ago, but you really noticed that the picture is noticeably brighter, despite the darkening glasses. During the fights in the water, the high frame rate was positive, and the colors looked better than in any other film. The new technology did not require getting used to and did not cause headaches. Both are booming!
