The director of movies like Tenet and The Dark Knight trilogy brings us closer to the life of the father of the atomic bomb in his latest work. The poster now shows us Oppenheimer testing the bomb.

A few years ago, Christopher Nolan wanted to make a Howard Hughes biopic starring Jim Carrey. But Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio are with him Pilot expected, and so Nolan buried those plans again. But now he is with me Oppenheimer yet directed his first biopic of his career.
In his film, Nolan tells the story of the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, who led the Manhattan Project to develop the first atomic bomb. Oppenheimer is played by Cillian Murphy, who has worked with The Dark Knighttrilogy and birth worked with Nolan. Other cast members include Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Rami Malek, Benny Safdie, Florence Pugh and Josh Hartnett.
With the release of the poster, you can probably expect the first real trailer soon. It is supposed to be available in the US from Friday even as an exclusive pre-IMAX screening. Avatar: Path of Water be shown. Judging by the first Swiss presentations of “Avatar 2”, the trailer is not yet available in cinemas in this country. It is not yet known when the trailer will appear online. Nolan is a big believer in the big screen experience, which is why he is known for holding trailers for weeks for online viewing. As soon as there is news of an IMAX trailer and/or an online trailer, we will of course let you know.
Oppenheimer will open in German-speaking Swiss cinemas on July 20, 2023.
