What’s On Air Tonight: Billie Piper reunites with Lucy Prebble for ‘I Hate Suzie Too’.

Tip of the day: I hate Susie too

Billie Piper returns as funny, confused and honest child star Susie Pickles, a struggling adult actress. The first episode of the Piper and Lucy Prebble comedy-drama followed Susie after photos of her having sex were released, ending in the breakdown of her marriage to Cob (Daniel Ings) and an unwanted pregnancy. In the second series, she is seen as a seemingly unpopular contestant on a Saturday night reality talent competition called Dance Crazee before returning six months in advance. Leila Farzad returns as her former manager Naomi and the cast includes Douglas Hodge, Blake Harrison and Omari Douglas.

Between blankets

On a recent visit with Sarah Cox and other celebrity readers, Hugo Monnier, Sarah Keyworth, Clara Ampho and Rick Edwards discuss their favorite books and the two book clubs chosen this week: Dancing Tree by Kieran Milwood Hargrave and We by David Nicholls.

Dickensian Christmas Miriam

As we can’t seem to get enough of Miriam Margolis and her outspoken views in these low-key times of self-censorship, it seems like she’s all over the place right now. In this final car, the actor reveals himself to be the self-proclaimed Scrooge, but is aided in hosting a traditional Dickensian Christmas party by food historian Annie Gray and craft expert Ruth Goodman, who teach her how to make her own decorations. Later, the great-great-great-granddaughter of Charles Dickens explains the importance of philanthropy in Dickens’ work.

Christmas on the farm

Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson return to another holiday event from Cannon Hall Farm in South Yorkshire with Nicholson brothers Rob and Dave. The hosts also get to know some of the farm’s four-legged inhabitants, sample a range of British holiday foods and drinks, and even welcome a newcomer to the farm.

Vice Tokyo

Jake Adelstein, the American in Ansel Elgort’s “Tokyo,” often looks too gentle and innocent with dewy eyes under a ferocious yakusa – and his naivety gets him into trouble in today’s episode of this gripping drama. Club owner Rachel Keller Samantha, on the other hand, seems quite capable of taking care of herself, though she seems overwhelmed by her date with Sato (Sho Kasamatsu), an ambitious gangster who commits his first murder tonight.
