Euskaraz irakurri: Ondarroako Beikozini itxi dute
Altxerri, Plateruena, Doka provisionally… These do not seem like good times for the medium-sized venues, those that keep the music scene alive town by town, despite the fever of big concerts and festivals.
Live music has lost another space: the management of the Beikozini venue in Ondarroa has announced in a message broadcast on their networks that they have reached “their last stop.” After nine and a half years, “unfortunately we cannot continue with our project.”
The Ondarroa musical space says goodbye “with gratitude and great sadness” after offering its stage in recent months to Brigade Loco, Arene 6, Keu Agirretxea, Bengo, Sua, Gatibu, Kaleko Urdangak, Willis Drummond, Ezpalak, ETS, OIaia Inziarte, Janus Lester and many others, and bring the music of Basque and foreign groups and soloists to Ondarroa.
