Euskaraz irakurri: AEK eta Korrika sarituko ditu Elkar Fundazioak
Elkar Fundazioa will award AEK, Alfabetatze Euskalduntze Koordinakundea, and Korrika the Ibilbideari Elkar saria award, the foundation announced today, Tuesday.
“AEK’s objective is and has been for all the inhabitants of the Basque Country to live comfortably in Basque, and it has worked to achieve this in all areas: knowledge, use and promotion,” they explained.
“Thousands of people have learned Basque in AEK’s euskaltegis, and thousands of people have come to know Basque and become active in favor of Basque thanks to the work of AEK, for example thanks to Korrika,” the foundation continues to justify the award.
The award will be presented on May 23 at 6:00 p.m., at the Ekar headquarters in Aduna. Additionally, at that same event, Josu Goikoetxea, winner of the Joseba Jaka scholarship, will receive his award.
