Tom Boweractor who played Marvin in the sequel to ‘The jungle of crystal‘ along with Bruce Willis, has died at the age of 86. The actor played Marvin, a janitor who helps Lieutenant John McClane (Bruce Willis) defeat his enemies.
Born on January 3, 1938 in Denver (Colorado, United States), Bower debuted on the small screen in 1973 in the TV movie Incident at Vichy. Subsequently, he occasionally participated in series such as Kojak, The Bionic Woman, A Murder Wrote, Hill Street Sad Song, Miami Vice or Dallas.
One of his first notable roles on television came in 1975, when he signed for the role of Curtis Willard in The Waltons. He participated in 27 chapters. His television filmography also includes more recent titles such as Ray Donovan, Law and Order, The West Wing of the White House, The X-Files, Monk, Walk-In, The Office or Criminal Minds.
On the big screen, Bower worked with notable directors such as John Cassavetes in Shadows, Oliver Stone in Nixon, Werner Herzog in Bad Lieutenant, Scott Cooper in Wild Heart, Edward James Olmos in American Me, Philip Noyce in Danger imminent, Kevin Costner in Messenger from the future and Ed Harris in Pollock and Appaloosa.
Bower’s last work dates back to 2023, when he appeared in three episodes of Lucky Hank, a series starring Bob Odenkirk, the star of Better Call Saul.
