The Academy of Music of Spain, association of artists, authors, producers, editors, managers and promoters with the aim of “bringing together all music professionals, and stimulating and proclaiming excellence, solidarity, talent, work and effort, as the intrinsic values of the musical community,” he presented his awards last night in Madrid.
The members of the Academy, whose board of directors includes names such as Luis Cobos, president, Alejandro Sanz, Pablo Alborán, Luz Casal and Iñigo Argomaniz, from the San Sebastian promoter Getin, have been in charge of voting in each of the the 42 categories.
Thus, in the category of best song in Basque the winner was “Aralarko dama”, from the album Aaztiyen by Zetak. The rest of the authors nominated in this category were Anne Etchegoyen, Bulego, Dupla, Ibil Bedi, Izaro, Jon Maia, Julen García, Kuttune, Lilo, Merina Gris, Neomak, Nøgen, Olaia Inziarte, Sara Azurza, Sara Zozaya, Sweet Rage eta Urtz.
In the general categories, the Murcian band Arde Bogotá has emerged as the great winner of the awards with six trophies.
