The 25th edition of Kalealdia, the Bilbao Street Theater and Arts Festival, will offer a total of 86 shows from July 1 to 6. The program includes performances by 32 companies, 18 of them Basque: Dab Dantza Konpainia, Euskorleans Band, Kukai Dantza, Ganso & Cía, Hortzmuga Teatroa, Kamikaz Kolektiboa, La Glo Zirko eta Dantza, Lekittoko Deabruak & Zozongo Produkzioak, Olatz De Andrés, Loratzen Dantza Taldea, Toño Valdivieso, Cía. Maite Guevara, Orain-Bi Zirko-Teatro, Osa + Mujika, Rojo Telón, Teatro Gorakada, Teatro Panta Rhei Antzerkia and Estefanía de Paz Asín.
Among the international companies, the French Compagnie Allégorie, Los Putos Makinas, La Triochka and Underclouds stand out. Teatro Do Mar will arrive from Portugal, Hippana-Maleta arrives from Germany and Ireland and Soon Circus Company arrives from Sweden and Catalonia.
The performances will take place in the Doña Casilda Iturrizar Park, Plaza Arriaga, Bizkaia Aretoa – UPV/EHU- and on the route that runs from the Plaza Circular to the Arenal.
All are free except “Duelo”, from the Kikolas company; It will be 3 euros per ticket, which will be donated to the Humanitarian Maritime Rescue association (Aita Mari).
