The festival The Festivities of the World This year, it celebrates its twenty-eighth edition, which will take place between July 18 and 21 in Itsasu and will have metamorphosis as its main concept.
For four days, you can enjoy talks in the town of Labortana (different artists will deal with metamorphoses from their point of view), concerts (Hunophones, Lagon Noir and Ventu Omirumba on Thursday; Parveen & Ilyas Khan, Yeni Gayda and Naïssam Jalal on Friday; and Aya Metwalli & Yohan Dumas, Sourdurent, Paloma Pradal, Votia and Ngasa Ngasa on Saturday), dance (Andrés Marín and Jon Maya will perform the play on Friday). In addition, the sculptor Régis Pochelu will carry out an artistic intervention, in which he will interpret the concept of metamorphosis in a sandstone from Artzamendi.
Visitors will be able to use the free camping site with toilets and showers, and tickets are already on sale. Three-day tickets can be purchased for 55 euros, and day tickets for 28 euros; children under 12 can enter for free.
