Euskaraz irakurri: ‘Made in Spain’ sailak 21 film luze bilduko ditu; Andrea Jaurrietaren ‘Nina’ tarts
The ‘Made in Spain’ section of the 72nd San Sebastian International Film Festival, which will be held from 20 to 28 September, will include 21 titles, including the film ‘Nina’ by Pamplona-born Andrea Jaurrieta.
‘Nina’ has the participation of EITB and tells the story of a woman who returns to the town where she grew up in search of revenge. The reunion with her place of origin, with her memories of the past and with a childhood friend will make her reconsider whether revenge is her only option.
This feature film is the second film by Andrea Jaurrieta (Pamplona, 1986) and has won the Biznaga de Plata Special Prize from the Critics’ Jury in Malaga. The Navarrese director made her feature film debut with Ana de día / Ana by Day (2018), which competed in Malaga and earned her a nomination for the Goya for best new director.
A total of 21 feature films will be part of ‘Made in Spain’, the non-competitive section of the competition, including films by filmmakers Antonio Chavarrías, Andrea Jaurrieta, Isaki Lacuesta and Pol Rodríguez, Álex Montoya, Celia Rico, María Trénor, David Trueba and Jonás Trueba.
The world premieres of the non-fiction films ‘A Time of Silence and Destruction’ and ‘A Lot of Shit’ will open and close the section respectively.
