Today, March 10, is Super Mario Day. To celebrate the occasion, Swiss cinemas have launched a pre-sale of the theatrical film. As always, we have collected all the seasons for you.
Not only heard for our Muri Movie Super Mario Bros. one of the most anticipated films of 2023. The adaptation of Nintendo’s popular video game series brings Mario, Luigi, Peach, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Toad and more to theaters as an animated film for the first time, leaving what we’ve seen in the trailers so far to give you a lot of optimism. The recently released final trailer (see below) is also a lot of fun.
The new trailer was created by Universal, the animation studio behind Illumination (minions, sing) and Nintendo just in time for Super Mario Day on March 10th. Many cinemas in Switzerland are also celebrating this holiday and have launched a pre-sale of new movies today. Now you can get tickets for the first week. Movie Super Mario Bros. launches throughout Switzerland on Wednesday 5 April 2023.
The film can be viewed in different formats (3D, Atmos, IMAX) and language versions. All information, of course, can be found in our film program.

IN Movie Super Mario Bros. Two plumbers Mario and Luigi are sucked into a mysterious pipe during underground renovations and enter a magical new world. As the brothers part ways, Mario goes on a giant journey to find Luigi. With the help of Toada, a resident of the Mushroom Kingdom, and training from Princess Peach, Mario discovers new powers within himself.
