The plot is based on a chapter from Bram Stoker’s classic Dracula novel. Demeter’s last journey the story of the merchant ship Demeter, chartered to carry a private cargo of fifty unmarked wooden crates to London. Strange events unfold as the doomed crew struggle to survive the voyage, haunted every night by the relentless presence aboard the ship.
Already in May of this year, we get into a horror comedy Renfield as Nicolas Cage visiting Dracula. But just a few months later, Universal brings us the second Dracula movie of the year. Demeter’s last journey but puts even more horror at stake. The trailer looks very promising and is reminiscent of genre classics like the monster and the little team. stranger or thing John Carpenter.
Demeter’s last journey was directed by Norwegian genre specialist André Övredal, who helped make a breakthrough in his homeland. troll hunter succeeded and then in the USA such effective vines as Jane Doe autopsy And Scary stories to tell in the dark staging.
Demeter’s last journey will be released in theaters in German-speaking Switzerland on August 17, 2023.
