On Monday, a woman was arrested for allegedly breaking into actor Robert De Niro’s US home and stealing gifts that were under the Christmas tree.
Shanice Aviles, 30, was arrested after she entered De Niro’s house on the Upper East Side – a New York area known for being home to several celebrities – at 2:45 am this Monday (7:45 am in Portugal), local police said. US news site ABCNews.
The woman, who already had a criminal record and was being monitored by authorities, had already been arrested on Dec. 8 for seven robberies on the Upper East Side.
On the morning of the robbery, agents saw her enter De Niro’s home and were caught stealing presents from under the Christmas tree and putting them in a bag.
The apparatus woke De Niro, who quickly went downstairs and collided with the attacker.
