The door of the Titanic was sold at auction for 663 thousand euros

The iconic wooden door from the film Titanic, in which Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio’s character) tried to survive and save Rose (Kate Winslet), was sold at the Treasures from Planet Hollywood auction in the United States for $718,750, more than $663,000 euros.

The film is over three decades old and has always sparked curiosity about whether the film’s two characters could be saved after a terrible shipwreck.

Even though the film was the most expensive, it had many iconic films that caught the attention of the public.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jack Nicholson’s ax from The Shining sold for approximately 115 thousand euros. Harrison Ford’s whip in Indiana Jones and the Lost Temple cost 484 thousand euros.

Sneakers worn by Tom Hanks during the filming of Forrest Gump in the 90s were also recently sold by auctioneer Heritage for almost €53,000.
