The Cape Verdean singer-songwriter will take the stage next Saturday. He was born in Cape Verde and started making music with his family. In his youth, he emigrated to the United States of America, where he lived for three decades. On the other side of the Atlantic, he continued to play and began to compose.
He recorded the albums “É si ke mundo”, “Natural” and “Nha luz”. He has accompanied many artists on stage such as Paulino Vieira, Bana, Bonga and many more. Living in the city of Praia on the island of Santiago, Ze Rui has released several singles over the past few years, and it is this record in the traditional music of Cape Verde that he will present at a concert next Saturday, 4th, in B. Leza. He will be accompanied by Nir Paris on drums, Humberto Ramos on keyboards, Joge Almeida on guitar, Renato Chantre on bass and Jair Pina who will play a lot of percussion.
