Joss Stone in the Douro, Wet Bed Gang in Costa de Caparica and Mandragora in Figueira da Foz kick off another busy weekend of festivals this Friday. The British singer is headlining the first day of the Douro and Porto Wine Festival, an event that aims to celebrate music, gastronomy and wine in one of Portugal’s most idyllic locations. The two-day festival, held in the commercial port of Cambres in Lamego, welcomes Resistência, Miguel Araújo and Judy Jackson this Friday. This Saturday, it’s the turn of Vance Joy, Rui Veloso, Corinne Bailey Rae and Sid Sriram.
Further south, in Costa de Caparica, Wet Bed Gang will be the main attraction this Friday, the first day of the summer festival Sumol. The 14th edition of the event, which will take place at the Parque de Campismo Inatel in Praia de São João, will also feature Teto, Nemzz, A$AP Twelvy, Nenny and Joint One & Young Juse. This Saturday, Offset, WIU, Lon3r Johny, YENDRY and King Bigs will perform. Also this Friday, but at Praia do Relógio, in Figueira da Foz, the 10th edition of RFM Somnii begins. Among others, Madragora and R3hab will shine tonight. This Saturday, there are Cura and Nicky Romero, as well as Domingo, Don Diablo, Nervo and Diego Miranda.
