Russian military observer Vladlen Tatarsky, died this Sunday in an explosion at a cafe in St. Petersburg, Russia, according to Reuters. According to the Russian news agency RIA, 25 people were injured in the explosion, 19 were hospitalized.
The Russian interior minister has already confirmed the death of military Tatarsky, whose real name is Maxim Fomin, who had over 560,000 Telegram followers and was a major military digital authority. He regularly commented on Russia’s war in Ukraine.
The cafe that was attacked belonged to Evgeny Prigozhinao, founder of the Russian paramilitary militia, the Wagner group. Russian news agency RIA indicates that the bomb that killed Vladlen Tatarsky was hidden in a statue donated to the military.
