PSP is trying to identify dozens of motorcyclists who drove the wrong way down Avenida Marginal over the weekend.
The situation was filmed by the participants themselves and shared on social networks. The pictures show a chaotic situation that ended without consequences. According to CM As it turned out, the “procession” of motorcyclists, organized informally, was heading from Lisbon to Oeiras on the night from Saturday to Sunday. But when they arrived in the Caquias area, they found traffic jammed due to a celebratory event. Unlike other drivers waiting in line, dozens of motorcyclists turned the wrong way and drove in the wrong direction until the Alto da Boa Viagem intersection.
To the question CMThe Lisbon metropolitan command assured that “it is aware of the situation shown in the video and has begun work to identify those involved in it for subsequent procedural processing.”
If identified, the culprits face up to three years in prison for dangerous driving of a road vehicle.
