A 57-year-old woman died on Monday morning in an apartment fire in Faro.
The victim lived in Urbanização Vale da Amoreira in Faro, a source from the Algarve Sub-Regional Command told Lusa.
“A fire broke out on the ground floor of a building in Urbanização Vale da Amoreira. There is one dead,” the same source said.
The fire, which was alerted at 6:46 am, engulfed the first floor of the building.
PSP took care of the incident. The judicial police arrived on the scene.
