The members of a couple cannot be alone with members of the opposite sex and they have all of each other’s passwords. The young couple believe that these rules help their marriage work.
In the video, the couple said they weren’t aware of the controversial rules until they received comments. The video has received 7.5 million views.
“This is something we have agreed on in our relationship over time and experience. We never sat down and made rules, but that’s how people seem to have interpreted it. These are just rules that work for us. We were shocked to find that they were so controversial for people,” Jayden, 22, told Fox News.
The TikTok post had thousands of comments, most of whom found the rules “toxic” and contrary to what trust means.
Despite the criticism they received on social media, there were still people who supported the couple’s point of view. Why is this considered controversial? My husband and I act in exactly the same way, because we completely trust each other, ”the couple’s subscriber commented.
