A young man barricaded himself in an Espinho supermarket after attacking a man with a knife handle

On Tuesday afternoon, a 19-year-old barricaded himself in the Pingo Doce supermarket on Rua 20 in Espinho after attacking the 47-year-old man next to the school door with a knife Dr. Manuel Gómez de Almeida.

The victim was hit in the face with a knife handle. A man who wears glasses received a minor wound from one of the lenses.

A suspect who doesn’t visit a doctor. Manuel Gomez de Almeida is notorious for terrorizing students in close proximity to school premises. Last week, a young man allegedly attacked a student.

The student’s parents filed a complaint with the PSP police station in Espinho and the minor’s mother approached the suspect at school this afternoon. It was at this time that the young man, after a quarrel, attacked the victim, the father of another student who happened to be nearby. Another man, who was still trying to avoid aggression, pursued the suspect until he barricaded himself in the supermarket. The doors to the retail space were closed until the arrival of the PSP patrol.

The suspect was taken to the police station, identified, and the case sent to the Espinho State Ministry.
