The body of Sibora Gagani, a 22-year-old girl who went missing in July 2014, was found hidden in a wooden box between two walls in an apartment in Malaga, Spain.
Sibora Gagani, of Albanian origin and Italian citizen, shared an apartment with her partner Marco, 45. The woman disappeared after the end of the relationship.
In accordance with a countryOn 27 May, a man allegedly killed another woman, Paula, also in Malaga. The man fled the scene, but was later detained by the National Police and confessed that he had also killed his former partner.
While DNA tests are still pending, a man arrested on May 27 for stabbing another woman confessed to killing and immuring Sibora Gagani eight years ago. He also said that he used acid to get rid of the body.
In accordance with a countryMembers of the National Police’s Specialized Violent Crime Investigation Unit on Tuesday inspected the apartment where the alleged killer and Sibora Gagani lived in 2014. The body was confiscated and taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML) for autopsy and identification.
