Via Verde is accused of defrauding several consumers with an alleged scheme using IDs, news diary this Tuesday. Customers denounce the company for “fraud”, “pressure”, “scheme” and “loyalty tricks”.
In November, consumers submitted dozens of complaints to the complaints portal, up 50% from the previous month, and allege that the company is sending a message to customers informing them about member ID failure registration, asking them to replace it. Even if the devices are working properly, replacement requests are sent via email.
According to what the victims reported DN, the company “acts in bad faith” and deceives customers. According to them, this is “a strategy for the client to stick to a new method of paying monthly or annually for equipment.”
In response to allegations made by consumers on Portal da Queixa, the company reports cm which “strongly denies any allegations of fraud that is inconsistent with the brand’s values and practices,” the statement said.
The company also adds that “it always strives to guarantee the best service for its customers” and explains that “whenever a customer goes through tolls and a transaction fails, Via Verde will contact the customer directly to resolve the issue.”
Regarding issues with IDs, “Via Verde only contacts the customer when a yellow light comes on at the toll crossing, indicating a potential problem,” he says.
“If the issue is confirmed, the customer can sign up for a Via Verde plan or, if they so choose, buy a new ID. The final decision always remains with the client,” they guarantee.
