Mark Dikara, 62, shot himself in the foot in his sleep. A man dreamed that a thief was breaking into his house when, in order to protect himself from the criminal, he grabbed a pistol that he had at home and fired into the darkness. He immediately woke up and realized that he had shot himself in the leg. It happened on April 10 in Illinois, USA.

U.S. authorities discovered that Mark did not have a firearm owner’s ID because it had been revoked.
Following the arrest, the Lake County Attorney’s Office announced that it would be filing charges against Mark Dicara for possession of illegal firearms and reckless use of firearms.
Mark Dikara is due to appear in court on June 29 after posting a bail of around 137,000 euros.
