According to Chief Inspector Quintino Ferreira, the citizen was arrested in the Golf 1 area, sector 16, Kilamba-Kiaksi municipality, in Luanda, after a complaint, and it was found that the seller was selling dog meat on the spot.
Police say a huge amount of dog meat was found, as well as seven other live dogs waiting to be slaughtered.
“The 58-year-old citizen in question is already in custody and will be handed over to the prosecutor’s office for due process in connection with this crime against human consumption,” the representative of the Angolan corporation emphasized.
