Eight surgeons have already submitted their resignations to the administration of the Fernando Fonseca hospital, which took office last week. The protest is based on the return to service of doctors who reported errors in the surgical service of the hospital.
As a result, the allegations were not confirmed, and the doctors were suspended from work for three months, and they were expected to return to work in August.
The hospital administration ensures that the planned operations are not threatened by anything “in the short term” and is in dialogue with the departing doctors, hoping for a “conflict resolution”.
