The UN Security Council this Thursday was once again the arena for an exchange of accusations between Russia and Western countries at a meeting on migration convened by Russian diplomacy, which has been accused of creating a historic migration crisis by invading Ukraine.
A meeting of the Security Council convened this Thursday by Russia in the Arria Formula format (informal meetings with representatives of civil society) to address the crisis of “migrants, refugees and asylum seekers crossing borders by land and sea”.
Moscow, which invaded Ukraine in February 2022, has been accused of creating one of the biggest migration crises in history.
