A French court will not yet open a judicial investigation into the disappearance of Emile, a two-year-old boy who went missing a week ago. The French prosecutor clarifies that this step is not yet planned.
Therefore, on Monday, a preliminary investigation will be opened, that is, the case continues to remain under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, without being transferred to any judge.
Emil disappeared a week ago from his grandparents’ house during a family gathering. The village where all this happened is “closed” to outsiders until at least Monday. The idea is to avoid the flow of onlookers and give a little peace to the inhabitants of a small town in the French Alps.
On Saturday evening, a mass was held at the church of Le Verme, which was attended by the parents of the baby.
