The UN Secretary General did not hide that he was “deeply disappointed”, and assured that the UN would make every effort to guarantee the export of grain and fertilizers.
This Monday Russia notified Turkey, Ukraine and the UN of the termination of the Black Sea Grain Agreement. The deal, brokered by the UN and Turkey in July 2022, was aimed at easing the global food crisis and allowing the safe export of grain blocked due to the war in Ukraine.
