A 31-year-old man was arrested this Friday in the US state of Connecticut, USA, for the murder and dismemberment of his 11-month-old daughter.
Authorities reported Christopher Francischini for two weeks as a fugitive and was eventually arrested after a civilian recognized him at a bus stop in the city of Waterbury and called authorities immediately.

He was charged with murder with a bail of almost five million euros.
Francischini has a long record of assault, auto theft and other crimes. In 2012, he was on probation for assault charges and cut off an electronic ankle bracelet before fleeing.
Police said Christopher strangled Camille and then stabbed and dismembered her. According to daily mailinvestigators in the case alleged that after the murder, Francischini attacked the mother, who was unaware of the girl’s death, and then cut off the GPS navigator she had on her ankle as she was on parole.
A family member found Camilla’s body with signs of asphyxiation and stab wounds. On Saturday, the girl was going to celebrate her first birthday.
US police warned the public that there was a reward of ten thousand euros for information leading to the capture of this man, which subsequently increased to 24 thousand euros.
The Naugatook Police Department said in a statement that “Francischini’s capture is a prime example of what can be achieved when members of the community work with the police to get dangerous people off the streets.”
Dramatic footage of the arrest shows several officers with guns aiming at Francischini, demanding that the man lie down on the ground. The suspect obeyed the order without resisting and was handcuffed.
