A man arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse in Mirandela will be awaiting trial in pre-trial detention, a Judicial Police (PJ) source said.
This Friday, PJ Vila Real announced the arrest of a 43-year-old man who is “severely charged” with the crime of sexual coercion in Mirandela.
The judiciary said in a statement that the facts took place on Wednesday at a hair and beauty salon located in Mirandela and that the victim is a 24-year-old woman.
The suspect, according to the judiciary, already has a criminal record for an identical crime.
The man was present at the judicial interrogation, in the court of Mirandela, and the most serious measure of coercion was applied to him – pre-trial detention.
