The father of two children who went missing for 40 days in the Colombian jungle was arrested this Friday on suspicion of sexually abusing minors.
According to the Attorney General of the Republic of Colombia, quoted by the TV channel Snail, Manuel Ranok allegedly practiced sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old teenager.
Four children rescued in June from the jungle after a plane crash in the area remain under the care of the Institute for Family Welfare (ICBF). As a result of the accident, they lost their mother.
According to a maternal grandfather who is fighting for custody of his grandchildren, the indigenous community condemns Manuel Ranoke’s abuse of minors.
It is recalled that the Colombian was also accused of physical and verbal abuse of the children’s mother.
