A six-year-old boy was shot in the head by his nine-year-old brother in Jacksonville, USA. The accident happened early Monday morning.
“The initial investigation determined that the two youths were in the house under the supervision of an adult. One of them managed to get a firearm and fired a single shot, hitting the victim. There are no signs of criminal violence,” said one of the agents involved in the investigation. Florida Times Union.
An adult who was at home at the time of the incident was taken to the police station for questioning. Now we are trying to understand how the child got access to weapons.
This is the 15th child death from a firearm in 2023 in the US.
