The new season of the cultural, artistic and entertainment program “Língua Mãe” will premiere on Sunday at CMTV. The first episode, which will air at 11:25 am, will feature José Jorge Letria, writer, playwright and current president of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Autores (SPA), a partner in this project, as a special guest.
The second part of the program will also feature a report from behind the scenes of the 3rd Grand Gala Morna, featuring celebrities of the style immortalized by Cesaria Evora such as Dani Silva, Ana Firmino or Leonel Almeida.
Presented by Carlos Alberto Moniz and Vanessa Fidalgo, the new season of this content is the result of a collaborative effort between SPA and CMTV in promoting various forms of artistic expression in Portuguese, the guest speakers will be João Gil, José Eduardo Agualusa, Ivo Canelas, Alice Vieira, Maria João, Ana Lains, José Cid, Delphins, Luis Represas or João Brites, founder of the O Bando Theatre.
“It is a great satisfaction that we are already starting the fifth season in a format that has been gradually imposed, without compromise and maintaining consistency with the responsibility to conceive and present to the public a program with the general name “Mother Tongue”. ” said Carlos Alberto Moniz. cm.
Highlighting the “success achieved by the project both in terms of the audience and in terms of dissemination of the works of Portuguese authors”, José Jorge Letria also took the opportunity to announce that the Mother Tongue Award, awarded by SPA under this program, “will also continue”.
