Three people were killed in a nighttime Russian missile attack on Ukraine, and a fourth was killed in an explosion on Monday morning, Ukrainian officials said, cited Reuters.
Interior Minister Igor Klymenko said that the three who died at night were workers at an industrial facility that was damaged in the center of Poltava. Another five people were injured, another was missing, the minister said.
The head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak, said that the attacked premises belonged to a plant for the production of vegetable oil. “People worked the night shift,” Yermak said in the Telegram messenger.
The governor of the Kherson region Alexander Prokudin said that a 63-year-old woman was killed in an explosion in the village of Sadovoe at about 10:40 local time (8:40 Lisbon) on Monday.
The Ukrainian army said Russia fired four missiles overnight from the Black Sea, two of which were shot down.
According to the military, the area of Krivoy Rog, located in central Ukraine, was also subjected to rocket fire. According to local authorities, several private houses were damaged, but no casualties were reported.
