The crime was allegedly committed while a child was brushing his teeth in the early morning when a woman stabbed her daughter, dismembered her and stored the body parts in a refrigerator. About a week later, the woman decided to move and took the device with her.
Between the 25th and 26th, when the woman was out, the current boyfriend’s mother decided to check what was in the fridge. Mother-in-law Ruth suspected that drugs or weapons were hidden inside the device, but eventually found Alani’s weapon.
Ruth Floriano was held in custody.
